Hi! I’m Ellie.
Cat lover, art creator, old music listener, picture snapper.
I picked up the photography bug from a young age when I ended up using my Dad’s camera more than he did. He doesn’t mind so much now that I unintentionally stole his camera from him, now that I’ve made a living out of it…
Taking and editing photos to me is like when you only have one biscuit out the packet. It was just something that once I started, I couldn’t stop. I feel very lucky that I not only stumbled onto my career and loved it instantly, but that I have found a job that allows my creative side to shine, my geeky side to be satisfied, and my sentimental side to be able to delight those around me with the work I create, and give them memories never to be tarnished or forgotten. What more could I ask for?
My photography style is artistic, contemporary, atmospheric, but above all natural. I believe that being conservative and considerate while taking your pictures- whether that's at your wedding or in the studio- will mean that everyone feels at ease, creating special and sincere photos.
I produce both black and white images and colour images, both to the utmost quality. I am fluent in both Photoshop and Lightroom editing applications, as well as a variety of photographic equipment which I own. Having worked along side 3 other professional photographers right at the beginning of my career, and taking photos professionally for six years, I have had the privilege to work with so many brilliant people. I also taught photography to A Level students for two years, and really enjoyed passing on some of my experiences to the next generation of memory captors.
I would love to hear from you, and am more than happy to have a chat to discuss your personal photographic needs, with no obligation or pressure, of course. I'm all about getting to know a client before I go anywhere near my camera, I'm very aware you need to feel comfortable and relaxed with a photographer in order to produce the best results. I am based in Milton Keynes, but more than happy to travel.
I’d love to hear your story, and help you capture it. See what I do in the tabs above.
